Serve as the chief point of contact for customers throughout the life of the loan, leveraging your exceptional knowledge of home lending products while receiving support from the Home Lending team. Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
  • Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers and introduce new clients to additional products and services.
  • Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Develop strong partnerships with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, functioning effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
  • Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase’s financial products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
  • 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
  • Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FHA/VA sales experience.
  • Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.

This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and requires review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. It is also subject to Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators, including review of criminal conviction history, credit report, and NMLS information. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements and NMLS registration under the SAFE Act of 2008.
