Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories, functioning well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Build your role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase's financial products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
Additional Information
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other relevant information to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you will be required to register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration and timely completion of annual renewal, is mandatory for continued employment.
