About the role
Join a fun, high-energy team as a Senior Home Lending Advisor in Chase Home Lending. Serve as the chief point of contact for customers throughout the life of the loan, leveraging your exceptional knowledge of home lending products. The Home Lending team will support you with demonstrated expertise in this specialization. You’ll adhere to all regulatory requirements while marketing and promoting Chase’s financial products, growing your career while making a significant impact on the business.
As part of this role, you’ll guide clients toward fulfilling the dream of homeownership alongside a motivated team.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers and introduce new clients to additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations (in footprint territories) and function effectively within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
Additional Information
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. An employment offer is contingent on JPMC’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and other relevant factors to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration.
Continued employment requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements. This role also requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you must register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date and timely completion of annual renewal, is mandatory. Information obtained during registration or through NMLS notifications may impact your employment.
