Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet their customers and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, functioning well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Serve as the internal and external mortgage expert, maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in the local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
Compliance & Licensing
This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on JPMC’s review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant factors to determine financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness. Any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration. Continued employment requires compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you must register on NMLS or update your existing registration to reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Continued employment is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration after your start date and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates. Information provided during the application process may be transferred to NMLS on your behalf.
