About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
  • Work together with bankers, meet with their customers, and introduce new clients to bankers for additional products and services.
  • Collaborate with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross‑sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
  • Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations in footprint territories, functioning well within formal and dotted‑line reporting relationships.
  • Build your role as the internal and external mortgage expert while maintaining good relationships with customers.
  • Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and an understanding of the customer's financial needs, goals, and circumstances.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
  • 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
  • Knowledge of the real‑estate market in the local area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • FHA/VA sales experience.
  • Marketing, promoting, relationship‑building, and consulting skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.

Compliance requirements

This position is subject to Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on JPMorgan Chase’s review of criminal conviction history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant data to determine financial responsibility, good character, and fitness for the role. A felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies candidates. The role also requires registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) under the SAFE Act of 2008, with timely annual renewal and updates required after the start date.

Pay

Competitive total rewards package including a base salary determined based on role, experience, skill set, and location. Eligible roles may receive commission‑based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation, paid in cash and/or forfeitable equity, awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions.
