Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor the branch team by providing training on products and services.
- Collaborate with bankers to meet with customers and introduce new clients to additional products and services.
- Work with your team to create an outstanding customer experience using centrally managed direct mail, media advertisements, cross-sell efforts, relocation programs, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.
- Develop a strong partnership with assigned retail branches to promote mortgage loan originations within footprint territories, functioning well within formal and dotted-line reporting relationships.
- Build your role as the internal and external mortgage expert and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Exhibit consultative skills to provide recommendations based on financial analysis, product knowledge, and understanding of the customer’s financial needs, goals, and circumstances.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or real estate.
- 3+ years of mortgage lending and proven sales experience in retail banking.
- Knowledge of the real estate market in your local area.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- FHA/VA sales experience.
- Marketing, promoting, relationship building, and consulting skills.
- Intermediate PC skills in a Windows environment.
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. An employment offer is contingent on JP Morgan Chase’s review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries. Additionally, this role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008.
