About the role
As a senior high-yield investment research analyst, you'll conduct research analysis on non-investment grade companies and support the research efforts and portfolio construction of a portfolio manager. In this role, you’ll work closely with portfolio managers on in-depth issuer, industry and security research and valuation, while following market, issuer and security developments.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience OR a master's degree or higher, with at least six years of relevant work experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need of current or future sponsorship for employment
Skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of fixed income, bond math, yield curve dynamics, accounting, corporate credit analysis, financial modeling, covenants, macro-economics and market regulations
- Ability to independently conduct fixed income research; analysis may focus on individual securities, issuers or sectors
- Knowledge and understanding to make buy/sell recommendations
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with dealers and execute trades
Pay
Base: $200,000 - $240,000/year depending on position level and experience
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 80% of your eligible earnings based on company performance and experience level
Participation in our restricted stock units plan
