Job Details Join Our Analytics Hub Our growing Analytics Hub works with our consulting teams to deliver new insights, streamlined analysis, and world-class intelligence to the healthcare organizations we serve as clients. Combined with our consulting teams, you will be helping physician and executive leadership make informed decisions that can alter the course of their enterprises in areas such as physician alignment, mergers and acquisitions, service line planning, provider compensation, financial performance, transforming care models, patient access, managed care portfolio optimization, digital health expansion, and more. ECG uses a Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environment, with Microsoft Power BI as ECG’s current analytics visualization platform. Your Opportunity with ECG: Senior AI Healthcare Engineer As a senior healthcare AI engineer, you will help drive the firm's AI strategy by designing, developing, and deploying intelligent solutions that enhance client delivery, accelerate internal operations, and create new service offerings. Working closely with consultants, healthcare subject matter experts, data engineers, and business leaders, you will transform complex healthcare and business challenges into scalable AI-powered applications. In addition, you will partner with internal teams including IT, learning and development, business development, and analytics engineering to establish AI best practices, evaluate emerging technologies, and build secure, governed, and scalable AI capabilities across the organization. We are seeking an innovative and technically skilled senior healthcare AI engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions that improve healthcare operations, clinical decision-making, and business performance. This individual will work at the intersection of healthcare, data science, software engineering, and generative AI, developing scalable solutions that utilize healthcare data to create actionable insights and automate complex workflows. Your Responsibilities May Include AI and Machine Learning (ML) Development Design and develop production-grade generative AI, ML, and agentic AI solutions for healthcare and business applications. Collaborate with IT and Hub members to deploy solutions.Build retrieval-augmented generation systems, intelligent assistants, AI agents, and workflow automation solutions using enterprise and healthcare data.Develop evaluation frameworks that measure solution quality, accuracy, groundedness, reliability, and business impact.Contribute to the creation and improvement of automated testing methodologies, benchmark datasets, and regression testing processes to ensure AI solutions remain stable as prompts, models, and data sources evolve.Partner with business stakeholders (consultants, clients, business development, HR, etc.) to define success metrics and acceptance criteria for AI-powered applications. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend architectures that balance performance, cost, scalability, and risk. AI Solution Architecture Deploy and operationalize AI solutions within secure enterprise and client environments.Design scalable architectures that support customer-facing AI applications, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation solutions.Build and maintain CI/CD processes, monitoring capabilities, and deployment pipelines for AI applications.Implement observability, telemetry, and performance monitoring to track quality, adoption, and operational health.Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and governance teams to ensure secure deployment and compliance with firm requirements. Governance, Security, and Compliance Ensure AI systems comply with HIPAA, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC2, HITRUST), where applicable.Contribute to AI governance practices around model monitoring, fairness, transparency, explainability, and risk mitigation.Collaborate with cybersecurity and data governance teams to ensure secure deployment of AI solutions. Collaboration and Innovation Partner with division leaders, healthcare consultants, clinicians, and operational stakeholders to identify AI opportunities.Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.Present findings, recommendations, and system capabilities to both technical and nontechnical audiences.Stay current with emerging AI technologies, healthcare innovation, and industry best practices. The estimated base salary range for this job is $170000.00 - $190000.00 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG’s pay-for-performance philosophy.
