Senior Hardware Integration & Test Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Execute the engineering activities required to successfully produce, test and deliver spacecraft electronics to SEAKR customers.
  • Lead an engineering team through the integration, test, and qualification process of spacecraft electronics.
  • Develop and review integration and characterization plans.
  • Read and understand digital and analog schematics.
  • Review and clarify production travelers and test procedures.
  • Test and troubleshoot complex electronics systems from the component level to the system functionality level.
  • Analyze production metrics and lead efforts to increase production yield or clarify test flows.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure clear understanding and execution of tasks.
  • Solve basic lab debug problems using lab tools such as bench supplies, scopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Show familiarity with digital and analog design, including documentation of functional descriptions, review of schematics, creation and review of assembly instructions, documentation of test plans and test results.
  • Show proficiency with schematic tools, Bill of Materials or ERP management tools, work order and assembly traveler management tools, data analysis in spreadsheets, and extraction and documentation of test data from lab test equipment.
  • Show experience implementing engineering changes to schematics, Bill of Materials, and other documentation.
  • Show experience with assembly and test of spacecraft hardware and electronics.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Quality Control methods, configuration management methods, electronics theory, and root cause analysis.

Pay

Base pay range is $115,000-150,000 depending on qualifications.
