Senior Hardware Engineer

Axiado is an AI-enhanced security processor company redefining the control and management of every digital system. In this highly visible role as Senior Hardware Engineer, you will drive product from concept to production and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions.

Responsibilities

• Be actively involved in system design on embedded computing system products
• Create hardware specs and develop test plans
• Capture schematics using Orcad
• Work with Layout, Mechanical, and SI engineers to complete designs
• Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab
• Interact with cross-functional teams for technical discussions and address challenging problems
• Work on multiple tasks concurrently
• Engage and drive hardware builds and procurement

Requirements

• At least 4+ years of hardware engineering experience; 7+ years desirable
• Hands-on board design knowledge, schematic capture, PCB layout instructions, and signal integrity
• Familiarity with design tools including Cadence Orcad and Allegro
• Thorough knowledge of basic interfaces such as I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR4&5, Display, and Network interfaces
• Knowledge of DC-DC step-down converter design
• Experience with x86/Arm Servers and their subsystems
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and bring-up/design validation on products
• Excellence in debugging issues and strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills

• Familiarity with firmware, Linux, and scripting languages (desirable)
