What you will do
- Own and lead the design and development of server products utilizing a wide range of design and manufacturing partners
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical needs and business goals, leveraging your experience with server design and the knowledge of various teams to architect solutions that will be deployed at scale
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of component, firmware, test, qualification, and integration engineers
- Lead design and manufacturing partners to bring servers to the data center
- Oversee the fleet of servers you develop after launch, monitoring their quality and how they are meeting customer requirements
- Constantly look for ways to improve your products' performance, quality, and cost

Basic qualifications
- Experience in server technologies such as thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- 5+ years experience with design and manufacturing processes
- 5+ years experience leading ODMs and other suppliers in the product development and manufacturing processes
Preferred qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- 10+ years of server, storage, networking, or large-scale distributed systems experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience troubleshooting issues and root cause analysis
- Experience with deploying and operating hardware and applications across large data centers
- Proficient scripting, debug abilities, and Linux operations commands
- Experience with leading hardware and software development engineering teams
Pay & benefits
Base salary range:
- USA, CA, Cupertino: $183,000.00 - $247,600.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $159,200.00 - $215,300.00 USD annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
