About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This role will lead sourcing, pricing, geo-diversity, and second source manufacturing efforts for supply resiliency for additional AI/ML PCBAs added to our product roadmap. This role will manage the additional supply chain complexity when qualifying suppliers and manufacturing lines when transitioning from development to Mass Production. Additionally, this role will deliver our component multi-sourcing strategies, pricing, and enable contract manufacturing for the same platforms to ensure supply chain resiliency for our expanding AI/ML roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PCBA Supply sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Understand industry and technology trends.
  • Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
  • Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.
  • Provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
  • Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
