What You’ll Be Doing

We have exciting opportunities for Senior Geotechnical Engineers to join our thriving Infrastructure team.

• You’ll play a key role across a wide range of dynamic UK projects, taking ownership from desk study through to detailed design.
• You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, provide expert advice to clients, and help deliver creative, sustainable geotechnical solutions.
• You’ll expect variety, challenge, and the chance to shape the future of our geotechnical capability as we continue to grow.

Key responsibilities include

• Managing and supervising geotechnical investigations, including soil/rock logging, sampling and in-situ testing
• Producing high-quality geotechnical reporting and design solutions
• Designing foundations, earthworks, retaining structures and slopes
• Using advanced geotechnical software (e.g. Plaxis 2D/3D, settlement and slope stability tools)
• Collaborating across disciplines and supporting major construction and earthworks projects

What You’ll Bring

• You’ll have:
• A degree in a geotechnical or related discipline
• Experience across geotechnical investigations and design delivery
• Knowledge of UK design codes (including EC7), standards and specifications
• Experience working on geotechnical projects within the UK
• Strong communication and project-management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and geotechnical software
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel when needed
