Responsibilities
- Design & Architectures
- Develop/prepare engineering and technical documentation
- Conduct systems architectural analyses
- Track and ensure system architecture and interoperability requirements
- Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements
- Provide engineering analysis of system training, training equipment and simulator requirements
- Develop and utilize analytical, simulation, MBSE and digital engineering analysis techniques
- Develop, prepare, review, and integrate selected milestone review documentation
- Review, evaluate and monitor acquisition Contractor drawings
- Complete and support requirements definition and analysis, architecture design, implementation, integration, verification and validation, transition, decision analysis, requirements management, risk management, interface management, and configuration management
- Facilitate the transfer of information, lessons learned and best practices
- Perform market research and trade studies
- Develop and execute Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP)
- Participate in integrated logistics support efforts
Requirements
- Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
- Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Level Clearance
- Education: Bachelors degree in related engineering discipline from ABET accredited university and 12 years of experience in related field, 5 of which must be in DOD, OR 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in DoD.
- Experience: Supporting engineering and technical efforts within DoD environments
- Technical Skills: Experience with USAF command and control reporting systems, tactical radar, shelter and radome systems, aircraft trainer pods, radios and communication systems, EW systems, or threat emitters Network engineering experience within a DoD environment (preferably command and control)
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to provide expert guidance and recommendations to leadership, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills supporting collaboration with government and contractor teams
