Responsibilities

  • Design & Architectures
  • Develop/prepare engineering and technical documentation
  • Conduct systems architectural analyses
  • Track and ensure system architecture and interoperability requirements
  • Translate DoD user requirements into system requirements
  • Provide engineering analysis of system training, training equipment and simulator requirements
  • Develop and utilize analytical, simulation, MBSE and digital engineering analysis techniques
  • Develop, prepare, review, and integrate selected milestone review documentation
  • Review, evaluate and monitor acquisition Contractor drawings
  • Complete and support requirements definition and analysis, architecture design, implementation, integration, verification and validation, transition, decision analysis, requirements management, risk management, interface management, and configuration management
  • Facilitate the transfer of information, lessons learned and best practices
  • Perform market research and trade studies
  • Develop and execute Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP)
  • Participate in integrated logistics support efforts

Requirements

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
  • Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Level Clearance
  • Education: Bachelors degree in related engineering discipline from ABET accredited university and 12 years of experience in related field, 5 of which must be in DOD, OR 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in DoD.
  • Experience: Supporting engineering and technical efforts within DoD environments
  • Technical Skills: Experience with USAF command and control reporting systems, tactical radar, shelter and radome systems, aircraft trainer pods, radios and communication systems, EW systems, or threat emitters Network engineering experience within a DoD environment (preferably command and control)
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to provide expert guidance and recommendations to leadership, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication skills supporting collaboration with government and contractor teams
