Senior General Clerk
About the role
This job performs clerical support for functional groups in accordance with standard procedures, such as copying, preparing and distributing mail, inventory, data entry, filing, faxing and retrieving documents, indexing and scanning/imaging documents. May also include, performing calculations, compiling and maintaining records, posting and verifying information, and resolving questions and problems.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively while interacting with internal/external customers.
- Prepare, sort and distribute mail, inventory, and reports.
- Enter data/statistics into database or reports.
- Monitor, track and review inventory.
- Additional clerical duties may include, but are not limited to photocopying and responding to incoming phone calls including transferring caller to the appropriate department.
- Resolve discrepancies and may communicate with a variety of internal and external customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- 5-10 years of related, progressive experience
