About the role
The Senior Gage/Dimensional Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining gaging and dimensional standards for product inspection.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain gaging and dimensional standards for product inspection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent product measurements
- Provide technical support and training to other engineers and technicians
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices in gaging and dimensional engineering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gaging and dimensional engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
- Knowledge of metrology principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
