Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Growth
About the role
The Growth org at Algolia aims to help the company grow by working on product improvements, introducing new features, and enhancing the user experience. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience for our customers as they start using Algolia, contributing to the development of a new growth platform, mentoring other engineers, and implementing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative solutions to enhance user engagement with Algolia's services
- Execute experiments and A/B tests to optimize user experience
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify and develop new opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth
- Design and build a scalable growth platform
- Work with various teams to establish a robust growth foundation
- Improve engineering quality, processes, and tooling
- Contribute to the team's roadmap
Requirements
- Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences across diverse user segments
- Data-driven decision-making and ability to analyze the impact of changes introduced
- Experience with event-driven infrastructure in GCP or AWS
- Experience with server-side programming in a typed or untyped language
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
Nice to have
- Experience working in a growth or scale-up team
- Experience with analytics platforms like Amplitude, Hex
Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $163,100 to $215,000 USD annually, with a flexible workplace strategy that allows for remote or hybrid work options.
