The Role
Primary KPI: Increase Free Trial → Paid Conversion from 20% to 40%
Type: Full ownership from idea to shipped → measured → optimized
No PMs or ticket execution – you own initiatives end-to-end
Responsibilities
- Own conversion funnel: audit, map drop-offs, ship improvements
- Ship production code independently (full stack + infrastructure)
- Run 2+ activation experiments/month by Month 6; instrument event analytics
- Build in-product expansion triggers
- Operate AI-native workflows (Claude, Cursor); target 40%+ dev cycle reduction within 12 months
- Submit revenue-focused roadmap within 30 days (audit, top 3 friction points, 12-month plan)
Requirements
- 3+ years full stack experience at early-stage startup with growth (promotions, expanded scope)
- Shipped product end-to-end that real users paid for
- Thinking in funnels, not features (conversion, retention, expansion)
- AI Power User with quantified workflows
- Comfortable with ambiguity and full ownership
- Bonus: PLG, A/B testing, growth experiments, event instrumentation
