Senior Fullstack Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team building modern, customer-facing financial technology products.

This is a true full-stack role working across React, Next.js, TypeScript, Kotlin/Java, and Spring. You'll build scalable frontend applications and backend services while contributing to architecture, technical decisions, engineering practices, and the overall customer experience.

We're looking for an engineer who can take ownership from design through production and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-moving product environment.

What You'll Do

• Build scalable, high-performance applications across the frontend and backend.
• Develop customer-facing applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Design and build backend services and APIs using Kotlin or Java with Spring.
• Design data models and work with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or similar SQL databases.
• Build and support distributed, asynchronous, and event-driven systems.
• Work with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
• Own development from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build observability into applications through logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture, code quality, and engineering best practices.
• Help develop and improve AI-assisted and agentic development workflows using modern AI engineering tools.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong React, Next.js, and TypeScript experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring, or comparable technologies.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience developing and deploying applications in containerized environments.
• Understanding of asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming platforms.
• Experience with observability technologies such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools.
• Experience incorporating AI development tools into software engineering workflows.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical decision-making skills.
• Experience building consumer-facing, fintech, financial services, or other high-scale digital products is a plus.
