Senior Full Stack Solution Engineer

About the Role

Our Fortune 500 client located in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Full Stack Solution Engineer to design, develop, and enhance modern cloud-based enterprise applications that support customer-facing digital services. This role combines solution architecture with hands-on software engineering, giving candidates the opportunity to build scalable web applications, modern APIs, cloud-native services, and enterprise integrations using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate is an experienced full stack engineer who enjoys both designing technical solutions and writing production-quality code. This individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software while driving application modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Technical Design
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions for enterprise business applications.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into application architecture and implementation plans.
  • Evaluate solution alternatives, technology choices, and architectural trade-offs.
  • Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guidance.
• Full Stack Application Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET, C#, Angular, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Build responsive web applications, reusable UI components, RESTful APIs, backend services, and integrations.
  • Develop secure, high-performance applications using modern software engineering practices.
  • Implement automated testing and ensure high code quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Cloud & Integration Development
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
  • Build integrations between enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
  • Develop APIs and data services supporting internal and external business applications.
  • Support database design, optimization, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Application Delivery
  • Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote software development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Azure DevOps.
• Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Present technical recommendations, solution designs, and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor developers and promote engineering standards, coding best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Agile planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and technical design sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering and full stack development experience.
• Strong expertise developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Angular.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience with SQL Server database development and optimization.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and application integration.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

• Must Have: C#.NET / ASP.NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript, REST API Development, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD Pipelines, API Integration, Software Architecture, Agile / Scrum
• Nice to Have: AI-Enabled Application Development, Cloud-Native Application Design, Microservices Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Distributed Systems, Enterprise System Integration, Power BI, Automated Testing Frameworks, Secure Application Development, Utility or Regulated Industry Experience
