Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
About the Role
Spatial Front Inc. is seeking a fully remote, hands-on Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong front-end expertise in Angular and/or React and backend development experience building Node.js REST APIs. As a key member of the team, the engineer will lead or contribute to the architecture and design of software solutions while collaborating closely with customers, stakeholders, and development teams.
The role supports a wide range of software development activities, including requirements analysis, technical solutioning, system and application architecture design, detailed software design and development, implementation, testing, debugging, integration, and ongoing system support for new and existing applications.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across the full technology stack.
- Develop and maintain high-performance Angular, React, and Vue front-end components
- Design, architect, and maintain web applications, software support, and debugging
- Develop reusable UI components and front-end libraries
- Integrate front-end applications with backend services and third-party APIs
- Work with Okta or other similar authentication services
- Work on AWS services, specifically AWS Lambda and AWS ECS
- Develop and deploy serverless backend services with AWS Lambda using NodeJS and/or Python
- Lead or work independently on front-end application development
- Interface with senior-level customer management and SMEs
- Resolve complex design, implementation, and/or performance issues
- Work with the Information Security Organization to ensure that developed solutions meet all security requirements
- Support all development and delivery activities, from requirements definition and specification to deployment and delivery to production
- Consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or substitute eight years of additional equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of development experience
- 4+ years of recent Angular 17+ and NodeJS experience
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
- Experience with web applications, REST API development, and deployment
- Experience in microservice design and development
- Strong experience in scripting using Linux and other CLI tools
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with development teams and customers
Skills
- Experience with serverless architecture
- Recent Java & Spring Boot development experience
- Proficiency with cloud technologies (AWS strongly preferred)
- Experience in applying Agile/Scrum methodology
- Node.js

- Database migration experience
- Design, develop, test, and integrate custom Java applications, developing innovative, scalable, and secure enterprise custom applications
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases

To meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the US. All candidates will be subject to a complete background check, including criminal history, education verification, professional certification verification, previous employment verification, and credit history. Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and require fingerprinting.
Work environment: Flexible/remote.
Pay
$105,000 - $160,000 annually
