Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a full-stack software engineer specializing in React and NextJS development to join our Engineering Organization. This role involves modernizing our application and converting it to our new design system, working closely with the UX team and other stakeholders to build modularized solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work on the front and back end of our software application (Ruby, Golang, React, NextJS, MUI, .NET)
• Build reusable components
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and unit test generation
• Integrate AI into the broader SDLC
• Develop components and services that are consumed via interfaces and API contracts
• Work remotely under minimal supervision

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working Ruby and/or Golang
• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining JavaScript, React and Redux code
• Experience building microservices or RESTful API's
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools
• Experience integrating AI into the broader SDLC
• Attention to detail while converting UX designs to a working application
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse, and other data stores
• Experience working with AWS and EKS
• Experience working remotely under minimal supervision

Qualifications

• Experience with React Query
• Knowledge or experience with TypeScript, Next.js
• Experience with feature flag management tools such as LaunchDarkly
• Experience working with multiple distributed/global teams
• Experience building a security product
• Awareness of AppSec, OSS licensing, and security tools
• Understanding of computer networking protocols and DNS

The hiring base pay is dependent on several factors, including level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic location.
