Senior Full Stack Engineer (React Native/Java)

This is a contract position based out of Chicago, IL, and is fully remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and performant mobile UI components.
• Implement state management strategies using Redux, Context API, or similar frameworks.
• Build secure, scalable backend services and microservices.
• Integrate third-party APIs, authentication services, and mobile device capabilities.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Create and maintain automated testing for mobile and backend applications.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive solutions through root cause analysis.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of React Native development experience.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
