Transforming Visits

Empower users to enjoy their eye doctor visits by designing and implementing top-line business impact features. Ensure user data is handled securely and with care, and build tools to deploy, monitor, and manage applications efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Tackle challenges to provide responsive and engaging customer experiences
• Design, implement, and develop new product features with a focus on delightful customer-facing elements and internal tools that improve productivity
• Conduct code reviews and provide regular feedback to your team
• Stay updated with the latest web technologies and infrastructure designs

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years of object-oriented programming experience in a professional environment
• Experience building secure, production-level backend infrastructure
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, ElasticBeanstalk, EC2
• Experience in web technologies like ES6, React, Node, Redux, jQuery, Webpack, Babel, SCSS
• Passion for creating great user experiences
• Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with non-engineers such as designers, doctors, and end customers
• Self-starter, adaptable, coachable, and excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment

• Former founder or early engineer at a startup
• Mobile development experience
• Experience working with Augmented Reality
