By providing software and services designed for financial advisors, the company enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of estate planning.About the Opportunity:The Senior Full Stack Engineer plays a key role in designing, building, and evolving software used daily by financial advisors. This position combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, product ownership, and continuous improvement of engineering practices. The role directly contributes to delivering impactful products that meet customer needs while supporting the company's mission to empower advisors through innovative estate planning solutions.Responsibilities:Design and implement product features from concept through production, with a focus on usability, reliability, and qualityLead technical decision-making and provide clarity for evolving or ambiguous requirementsUtilize AI development tools to accelerate coding, testing, research, and prototypingCollaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver measurable business impactSupport and mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharingEstablish engineering standards that balance quality, maintainability, and development speedContinuously improve architecture, tooling, testing, observability, and developer experienceStay current with emerging technologies and recommend the adoption of valuable tools and best practicesRequirements:8+ years of professional software development experienceProficiency with React, Mantine or Tailwind CSS, Java or Kotlin, and PostgreSQLExperience working in startup, small-team, or entrepreneurial environments is strongly preferredSignificant experience shipping and maintaining production softwareProven ownership of end-to-end features, systems, or technical initiativesStrong ability to solve ambiguous problems and create technical clarityCommitment to simplicity, maintainability, and thoughtful engineering practicesExperience incorporating AI development tools into daily workflowsExcellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teamsProactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement beyond immediate responsibilitiesAbility to balance long-term technical health with short-term business prioritiesThrives in small, fast-moving teams that value ownership, flexibility, and initiativePay Range and Compensation Package:$160,000–$180,000 USD annually, depending on experienceCompetitive benefits packageFully remote within the United StatesPrimarily Pacific Time working hours Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
