About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for complex software development, including coding, managing small sections of ongoing projects, and closely adhering to deadlines. You will create design specifications, perform unit testing, and prepare technical documentation. The role involves ensuring professional relationships with customers and cross-team members while meeting expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and implementing serverless software solutions to support data quality and automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex software solutions, adhering to project deadlines.
- Create design specifications, perform unit testing, and prepare technical documentation.
- Design, develop, and implement serverless software solutions for data quality and automation.
- Build and monitor microservices, including UI components.
- Develop full stack solutions using NodeJS.
- Set up and maintain DataOps processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure professional and effective relationships.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in software development.
- Strong and evolving competence in multiple programming languages and technologies, particularly in cloud environments.
- Expert-level experience in React, NodeJS, and scripting in a cloud-based environment.
- Advanced experience with AWS services: Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS CLI.
- Strong technical skills in virtual infrastructure, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline.
- Fundamentals in object-oriented and computer science principles.
- Working knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns.
- Knowledge of systems analysis and design (including OOAD and UML) and database design.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and modern software engineering practices.
Preferred Skills
- High analytical skills and ability to develop tools for monitoring high-frequency data services.
- Experience working on Agile teams with a scrum team member mindset.
- Advanced experience with AWS-supported programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with AWS services: KMS, ALB/ELB, Route 53, and VPC.
- Fluency with CI/CD toolsets such as CloudFormation, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience building infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or similar techniques.
- Strong appetite for learning new technologies.

- Bachelor’s degree and/or other advanced degree(s).
- Relevant AWS or other professional certifications.
