We are partnering with a leading technology-focused law firm in New York, NY that is investing heavily in the digital practice of law. This is a permanent opportunity to shape modern, scalable platforms that directly support how legal services are delivered.

About the role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will lead the design and development of cutting-edge internet/intranet applications, integrate AI-powered capabilities, and guide a team of developers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality solutions across the full SDLC, working independently and owning outcomes.
  • Build scalable, secure RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core / .NET 6+ / C# that underpin critical business applications.
  • Design databases, create tables, stored procedures and functions, and optimize queries for performance in SQL Server.
  • Develop modern, responsive user interfaces for internal and external users using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
  • Use cloud services such as App Services, Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions, and Key Vault to build robust cloud solutions on AWS & Azure.
  • Embed AI capabilities into applications using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, and AWS SageMaker to drive smarter workflows and insights.
  • Work efficiently with modern IDEs and toolchains (Visual Studio 2019+ / VS Code).
  • Implement unit and integration tests to maintain reliability and long-term maintainability.
  • Produce clear technical documentation to support onboarding and ongoing system maintenance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of modern web development experience.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core / .NET 6+ / C#.
  • Experience with SQL Server (designing databases, creating tables, stored procedures, functions, and query optimization).
  • Front-end development skills with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) and services such as App Services, Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Functions, and Key Vault.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, or AWS SageMaker.
  • Familiarity with development tools like Visual Studio 2019+ or VS Code.
  • Strong focus on testing and code quality (unit and integration tests).
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
