Senior Full Stack Developer React - Hedge Fund

About the role

You will work on a large scale project to migrate legacy C# .Net code to Python and React across a range of systems. You'll work across the full technology stack, designing and developing high quality software that combines outstanding user experiences with scalable, cloud-native backend services.

Responsibilities

• Create responsive, performant user interfaces, transforming complex business workflows into elegant, user-friendly applications.
• Build reusable front-end components while collaborating on application architecture and integrating seamlessly with backend services built in .NET and Python.
• Contribute to the development of REST APIs, authentication and security, data services and cloud-based applications, working with technologies including .NET 6+, C#, Python, SQL Server and Redis.
• Deliver reliable, production-ready software through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• See the results of your work quickly on a range of Greenfield projects.

Requirements

• Experience within a similar financial services environment.
• Strong full stack development experience.
• Strong Python and C# backend skills.
• Expertise with React including (hooks, context, state management: Redux, Zustand, Recoil).
• Strong experience with responsive design, accessibility and cross-platform compatibility.
• Experience of working with complex, data centric applications.
• A good understanding of databases including Microsoft SQL Server.
• REST API experience.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Azure, DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
