About the role

This role requires demonstrated capacity to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, high-impact applications that support strategic goals. It entails a proven track record of providing technical guidance to engineering teams and collaborating across departments to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build complex system components, optimizing performance and delivery through AI-assisted tools.
  • Uphold high engineering standards through thorough code reviews and the responsible integration of AI-generated code.
  • Independently drive solutions for ambiguous requirements, utilizing AI for rapid prototyping and complex problem-solving.
  • Create robust testing strategies (unit, integration, automated) and leverage AI to identify edge cases and coverage gaps.
  • Document technical architecture, design decisions, and AI-driven processes.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, providing status updates and optimizing workflows through AI-integrated practices.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on software design patterns, testing, and ethical AI usage.
  • Debug and resolve complex production issues using AI-enabled diagnostics.
  • Evaluate new technologies and AI capabilities to improve system resiliency and developer productivity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align on technical goals and ensure high-quality delivery.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in deploying scalable applications on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) using serverless and container orchestration.
  • Demonstrated capacity to execute the full SDLC within Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Expertise in building secure and maintainable software architectures.
  • Proficiency in developing across the full stack using multiple programming languages and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience managing containerization and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proven ability to implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Proficiency in optimizing performance and troubleshooting complex system issues.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
  • Proven capacity to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Successful track record of collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Demonstrated capacity for software development, system design, and cloud-based application delivery, typically acquired through six or more years of experience.
  • Proven experience with modern full-stack frameworks and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), typically spanning three or more years.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineering teams, and successfully drive the end-to-end delivery of complex software solutions.
