Senior Frontend Engineer – JavaScript/React - W2 ONLY

Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer – JavaScript/React (W2 ONLY) Location: Los Gatos CA (Hybrid) Seeking a highly experienced Frontend Engineer to build polished, high- performing consumer experiences across web and TV applications. This person will partner closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and Data Science to independently own and deliver scalable product features and experiments. Responsibilities Build and ship high-scale, consumer-facing web and TV experiences.Develop product features and A/B tests.Design reusable React components and scalable frontend architecture.Partner with backend engineers on API design and frontend/backend responsibilities.Build maintainable, performant, and accessible UI code.Develop automated tests, from unit testing through end-to-end UI automation.Independently own technical problems from requirements through implementation and delivery.Collaborate across Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science. Required Skills Must have experience within enterprise-scale tech, streaming, marketplace, or subscription-based consumer platforms.10+ years of professional software engineering/frontend development experience.Expert-level JavaScript fundamentals, including asynchronous programming, Promises, concurrency, error handling, closures, and reusable abstractions.Expert-level React and TypeScript experience.Strong GraphQL and API integration/design experience.Strong experience designing reusable React components and frontend architecture.Experience with A/B testing and product experimentation.Experience building high-scale, consumer-facing applications within enterprise-scale technology, streaming, marketplace, or subscription-based platforms.Strong automated testing experience, including React Testing Library.Proven ability to independently understand requirements, solve complex technical problems, and own projects through delivery.TV/connected-device or mobile application development experience is a plus About SSI People: With over 26 years of industry experience, SSi People has built its reputation and expertise on putting people first.
