Monstro is a governed AI platform for regulated financial institutions. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Responsive Product Development in an AI-powered workflow
• Build and own features across our React applications
• Ensure the product feels native and responsive across different viewports

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript with production web-app experience
• Solid grasp of modern CSS, responsive design principles, and accessibility standards
• Experience with test-driven development and frontend testing frameworks
• Contributions to design systems or component libraries
• Confidence working with APIs and understanding backend services and system integrations
• Comfortable working with build tooling, bundlers, and CI/CD integration
• Clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
• Adaptable fast learner who is excited about staying on top of the latest trends in frontend development and wants to lead the team in adopting the latest best practices

Qualifications

Pay

Base Compensation Range for New York City: $180,000 - $230,000

Schedule

The role is hybrid, with in-person work expected in our New York City office (Hudson Yards).
