Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

12-month contract position for a Senior Frontend Developer based in San Leandro, CA. Hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite per week. Start date is as soon as possible. In-person interview process includes a required Glider test.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using React.js and Redux
• Ensure applications meet WCAG 2.0/2.1 accessibility standards
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Support new feature development and legacy system enhancements
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new functionality
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
• Conduct performance analysis and tuning
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall software engineering experience
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 3+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications using React JS and Redux
• 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting WCAG 2.0 and/or 2.1 accessibility standards
• 1+ year of experience working with SDL Tridion content management system
• Strong experience with Node.js, Webpack, and modern front-end build tools
• Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code in an enterprise environment
