Senior Frontend Developer

12-month contract role located in San Leandro, CA (hybrid – 3 days onsite per week). Start date ASAP; in-person interview with a required Glider test.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using React.js and Redux.
• Ensure applications meet WCAG 2.0/2.1 accessibility standards.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Support new feature development and legacy system enhancements.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to define, design, and deliver new functionality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, conduct performance analysis and tuning.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• 3+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications using React JS and Redux.
• 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting WCAG 2.0 and/or 2.1 accessibility standards.
• 1+ year of experience working with SDL Tridion content management system.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Webpack, and modern front-end build tools.
• Proven ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code in an enterprise environment.
