Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

We're working with a leading IT consulting and staffing firm based in Chicago, specializing in enterprise integration, implementation, and supported services for a diverse range of clients including state/local government, education, financial services, and large corporations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom templates, components, and themeable blocks within a leading Digital Experience Platform
• Develop responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies
• Analyze, troubleshoot, refactor, and optimize applications for performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, and content authors to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and release management
• Implement CI/CD best practices and support automated testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional front-end development experience
• Experience developing solutions using Optimizely/Episerver Digital Experience Platform
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor), SQL Server, Continuous Integration, and automated testing
• Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, and documentation skills
