Senior Front End Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of UI developers, designing front-end architecture and coding standards
• Develop and debug software, integrate systems, and implement algorithms to meet performance goals
• Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance standards
• Translate UX/UI designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces
• Mentor junior developers
• Collaborate closely with system engineers and product stakeholders to resolve technical problem areas
• Lead and mentor a team of UI/front-end developers, providing technical guidance, standards, and code review
• Architect and implement scalable, maintainable front-end solutions using modern frameworks
• Translate prototypes and design specifications into functional, responsive, and accessible interfaces
• Partner with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure design intent is preserved through implementation
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, cross-browser issues, and technical debt
• Participate in sprint planning, technical estimation, and architectural decision-making
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG) throughout development

Requirements

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MDTwelve (12) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Full-stack experience, including backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, RESTful/GraphQL API design)
• Experience with state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design
• Familiarity with version control (Git) CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud is a plus)
• Experience working closely with UX/UI and systems engineers to ensure accurate implementation of accessible interfaces
• Experience working with tiered architectural systems and in a Linux/Ubuntu environment is a plus

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is: $215,731.00 - $230,393.00
