Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Build and update financial models pertaining to forecasting and planning.
- Budgeting & Variance: Assist in monthly re-forecasting and comparing actual financial results against budget with explanation for differences.
- Cross-Functional Support: Partner with different departments to assist in meeting company financial targets and metrics.
- Month-End Close: Assist during month-end close review by analyzing accruals and validating data accuracy of 3-statement financial model.
- Deck Presentations: Assist in monthly updates of PowerPoint decks for board meetings and leadership reviews.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management.
Requirements
- Education, Experience and Training: 3 to 5 years of corporate or FP&A experience.
- Strong coding and accounting software expertise is a must.
- Fully competent in a variety of accounting and financial concepts, practices, and procedures with strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to quickly understand P & L reports and isolate issues.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI) and applicable software systems.
