SENIOR FP&A ANALYST
About the role
This is an onsite role reporting to the VP of Finance. We are seeking a Senior Pricing and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our growing finance team. In this key role, you will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies, manage pricing models, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability. You will also be responsible for financial planning and analysis, providing data-driven insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations that support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy & Management
- Develop, implement, and optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue, margins, and overall profitability.
- Perform detailed pricing analysis to assess market trends, competitor pricing, customer willingness to pay, and business performance.
- Work closely with procurement, sales, marketing, R&D, and operations teams to assess customer needs and ensure alignment of pricing with business objectives.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the pricing process, including cost structure, margin expectations, and customer relations.
- Evaluate market, customer, and competitor developments and adjust pricing strategies as needed.
- Design and implement tools for ongoing pricing governance, including price setting, approval workflows, and compliance.
- Recommend and implement improvements in pricing processes, tools, reporting, and margin analysis.
- Develop pricing proposals for new products, services, promotions, and customer opportunities.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Assist in leading the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes and ongoing financial forecasting to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Prepare detailed financial models to project future performance, revenue, and costs based on different pricing scenarios and market conditions.
- Create and update financial forecasts, assessing the impact of business decisions and external factors.
- Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and working capital drivers.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on areas for improvement, profit expansion, market share gains, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with internal departments to monitor and understand budget to actual performance, identify trends, and offer actionable insights.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and evaluate business cases and ROI analyses for proposed investments, initiatives, and operational changes.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights on variances, trends, and key performance indicators.
- Prepare financial reports that highlight business opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
- Assess and recommend improvements to financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Compliance and Governance
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, approval controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial records, pricing documentation, forecasts, and reporting.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, pricing, financial analysis, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
- Strong experience with pricing strategy, pricing analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Relevant experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
- Food and beverage or general manufacturing experience preferred.
- Cost accounting experience preferred, including exposure to cost structure, margin expectations, product profitability, and operational cost drivers.
- Experience developing, automating, and producing regular reporting, including data modeling and visualization.
- Experience preparing materials for presentations to and working with senior management.

Pay
Target base salary range: $100,000 - $120,000. Position is eligible for annual bonus.
