Senior Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Specialist
About the role
Reporting to the Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will provide strategic Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs leadership across a portfolio of contract manufacturing partners. You will drive risk identification and mitigation, influence food safety and quality performance across the network, and ensure products are manufactured in compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
- Lead Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs oversight for an assigned portfolio of contract manufacturing partners, providing strategic direction to strengthen food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Assess and manage network risk through audits, site assessments, performance reviews, consumer complaint analysis, and evaluation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Influence contract manufacturing partners and cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, strengthen quality systems, and resolve complex food safety and quality concerns.
- Provide technical leadership for product commercialization, process changes, investigations, and significant quality or food safety events across the co-manufacturing network.
- Monitor portfolio performance, identify emerging risks and trends, and develop risk-based strategies that improve operational performance and protect brand integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biological Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in food safety, quality, regulatory affairs, supplier quality, contract manufacturing, or food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety Modernization Act, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Preventive Controls, Good Manufacturing Practices, Global Food Safety Initiative certification programs, and food manufacturing quality systems.
- Demonstrated experience conducting audits, assessing risk, leading investigations, and influencing continuous improvement initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as Preventive Controls Qualified Individual, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Safe Quality Food Practitioner, Lead Auditor, or related certifications preferred.
- Travel up to 50% depending on projects and business needs.

Pay
Compensation Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
