About the role

International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. seeks a Senior Flavorist, Re-Imagine Wellness in Union Beach, NJ, to serve as a technical expert in flavor creation techniques and provide meaningful input into Wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performing project management and commercialization of salt and umami molecules for food and beverage market
• Utilizing experience with modulation when tasting created flavors in applications
• Working as a savory flavorist developer
• Optimizing use and performance of umami tools
• Creating savory top notes
• Creating reaction flavors
• Creating EMC (Enzymatic cheese flavors)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Technology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
• Experience must include:
• Performing project management and commercialization of salt and umami molecules for food and beverage market
• Utilizing experience with modulation when tasting created flavors in applications
• Working as a savory flavorist developer
• Optimizing use and performance of umami tools
• Creating savory top notes
• Creating reaction flavors
• Creating EMC (Enzymatic cheese flavors)

Qualifications

When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Employer will accept two (2) years of related work experience as meeting degree requirement.

Pay

Between $153,350 and $284,790 per year
