About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Firmware Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded firmware solutions for cutting-edge products and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with embedded systems working on Linux based platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and customize Embedded Linux environments including Yocto, Buildroot, and OpenWRT
- Strong background troubleshooting and debugging firmware for embedded systems and hardware platforms
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD build and release pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Manage source code repositories, branch strategies, and software integration workflows
- Integrate and maintain Open Source Software (OSS) within embedded environments
- Proficient in C++ and Python programming for embedded and firmware applications
- Manage firmware releases, version control, and deployment processes
- Knowledge of non-volatile databases and embedded data storage solutions for Linux-based systems
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Firmware Development Engineer specializing in embedded Linux platforms and firmware development
- Experience working with embedded systems working on Linux based platforms
- Strong background troubleshooting and debugging firmware for embedded systems and hardware platforms
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD build and release pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Manage source code repositories, branch strategies, and software integration workflows
