Senior Financial Planning Analyst (18559)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, intellectually curious Senior FP&A Analyst to join our growing finance team. This role serves as a key partner to the CFO and to the Senior Director of Finance, this role will play a critical role in strengthening and scaling our financial planning & analysis function. This is a hands-on senior-level individual contributor role with meaningful visibility and influence — not a traditional people-management position.
The role requires 6+ years of progressive experience across public accounting (valuation or transaction advisory preferred), corporate FP&A, or private equity-backed environments. We are looking for someone who is not an order taker, but a strategic thinker eager to contribute to “the art of the possible.”
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis: Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
Built and maintain dynamic 3-statement financial models
Develop long-range planning models and scenario analyses
Perform detailed variance analysis with clear, actionable insights
Support strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisionsBudget Tool Implementation & Systems Development: Play a lead role in evaluating and deploying a budgeting/forecasting platform (e.g., Adaptive, Dynamics module, Anaplan, SAP SAC, Oracle Hyperion, etc.)
Support implementation, data integration, and reporting architecture
Improve financial reporting processes and automation
Build scalable dashboards and KPI reporting packagesExecutive & Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare board-ready reporting materials
Support presentations to private equity partners (Veritas), lenders, and senior leadership
Deliver concise financial storytelling with executive-level clarityBusiness Partnership: Cross-functionally partner with department leaders
Translate financial data into strategic recommendations
Oversee and mentor a junior FP&A analyst
Support M&A, due diligence, or strategic finance initiatives as needed
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in FP&A, transaction advisory, valuation, or related finance roles
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Data Analytics, or Business Management or equivalent work experience
Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau) required
Experience participating in a corporate budgeting and forecasting process
Exposure to private equity-backed and/or performance-driven environments
Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and confidently
Comfort interacting with senior leadership and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with professional services or tech-enabled consulting business models, including familiarity with utilization, bookings, and backlog/pipeline dynamics, is preferred
Public accounting and/or finance background (valuation or transaction advisory preferred over audit)
Experience deploying or implementing a budgeting/forecasting tool
Experience with systems such as Adaptive Planning, Microsoft Dynamics, Anaplan, SAP SAC, or Oracle Hyperion
Experience deploying a budget tool is strongly preferred
CPA, CFA, or MBA (not required)
