Senior Financial Planner
About the role
We are seeking a client-focused Senior Financial Planner to join our team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive financial planning services. In this role, you will work closely with other advisors and partners to help clients navigate complex financial decisions, while developing the technical, analytical, and relationship management skills required for long-term success in advisory.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client financial plans and presentations for review by Advisors & Partners
- Initiates and drives the financial planning process for client assignments
- Gather, organize, and synthesize client data within a financial planning context
- Identify tax planning strategies through creating tax projections for clients
- Prepare financial scenarios
- Aid in researching technical issues and client questions
- Play an integral role in client relationships while supporting advisors
- Begin to lead select client relationships including, regular client contact, communications, and meetings
- Provide planning recommendations and communicate them effectively with the advisor and/or client
- Attend and participate in client meetings by taking notes, running technology, presenting financial planning software, selecting financial planning recommendations, and developing rapport with the clients
- Begin to lead the development and initiation of client communications
- Communicate with advisors or clients when necessary to initiate or follow up on planning engagements
- Aid in the client account administration function
- Assist with client development and ongoing relationship management
- Aid in the set-up and transfer of funds for new investment accounts
Requirements
- College Degree
- 3+ years of related experience
- Series 65

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $110,000.
