Senior Financial Management Analyst (Financial Analysis, Senior Associate)

Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Senior Financial Management Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Washington, DC location. The analyst will work as a special advisor to the Deputy Comptroller’s office, in coordination with the office of Financial Accounting and Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Deputy Comptroller’s office in managing agency financial systems
• Research abnormal general ledger balances and adjust as needed in the financial system
• Perform reviews and quality assurance of financial data
• Coordinate changes across agency systems related to org chart and staff reorganizations
• Assist with data mining across multiple agency systems for audit requests, congressional data calls, and other financial analysis as needed

Required Qualifications

• At least ten years of experience in related field
• Experience with Momentum Financials or other federal financial system
• Experience with federal accounting/budgeting practices and financial statements
• Must demonstrate a strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skill set to accurately document, report, and present findings
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• US Citizenship required

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with federal financial reports such as SF133 and GTAS

Pay & Benefits

• Projected compensation range: $155,000 - $165,000 per year
