Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Senior Financial Management Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Washington, DC location. The analyst will work as a special advisor to the Deputy Comptroller’s office, in coordination with the office of Financial Accounting and Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support the Deputy Comptroller’s office in managing agency financial systems
- Research abnormal general ledger balances and adjust as needed in the financial system
- Perform reviews and quality assurance of financial data
- Coordinate changes across agency systems related to org chart and staff reorganizations
- Assist with data mining across multiple agency systems for audit requests, congressional data calls, and other financial analysis as needed
Required Qualifications
- At least ten years of experience in related field
- Experience with Momentum Financials or other federal financial system
- Experience with federal accounting/budgeting practices and financial statements
- Must demonstrate a strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skill set to accurately document, report, and present findings
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- US Citizenship required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with federal financial reports such as SF133 and GTAS
Pay & Benefits
- Projected compensation range: $155,000 - $165,000 per year
