About the role

Amazon’s North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support operational and functional leaders. This role is part of a team committed to operational and financial excellence within one of the world’s most complex retail networks, delivering billions of packages annually. The NACFinance team provides cost controllership, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and financial insights for end-to-end defect reduction processes across the supply chain. You will translate operational KPIs into financial impact, ensuring stakeholders have reliable information to make data-driven decisions. The role requires learning agility, curiosity, and the ability to navigate complex ambiguity while driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end financial planning cycles, including forecast modeling, bridging, network partnership, and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Perform financial validations for projects to ensure accurate ROI insights.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to create reports that drive business improvement and defect cost reduction strategies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify core issues and collaborate with operational stakeholders to improve productivity measures.
  • Invent and simplify processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs related to defect expenses.
  • Develop scalable solutions to better understand end-to-end costs and identify new improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and enhance controllership with measurable results.

Pay

  • USA, TN, Nashville: $60,200.00 - $105,400.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Irving: $66,900.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington: $66,900.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue: $82,700.00 - $117,100.00 USD annually
