About the role
This position supports Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest by managing compliance, licensing, insurance, and bonding for all US West branches. Responsibilities include business and contractor licensing renewals, certificate of insurance (COI) tracking, broker and carrier partnerships, surety bonding administration, and vendor and customer compliance. The role also involves high-level month-end close activities, financial analysis, and cross-functional business partnering.
Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance, licensing, insurance, and bonding for US West branches, including renewals, COI tracking, and surety bonding administration.
- Manage month-end close procedures: journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, month-end reporting, internal controls, and inventory support.
- Perform financial analysis and business partnering, including variance and trend analysis, forecasting, modeling, and cross-functional advisory work.
- Uphold and lead safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in month-end close procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
