About the role

The Rapid and Rural Logistics (R2L) Finance team is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with a record of achieving results. The R2L team covers a portfolio of high-growth businesses with unique fulfillment and operational capabilities such as Sub Same Day (SSD), SSD Direct, and Rural Super Rural (RSR) +. Our Finance teams partner closely with operations teams to influence strategic direction, drive operations excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions, with the primary goal of continuously improving customer experience while driving long-term profitability. This role will support financial consolidation, analysis and month-end close (MEC) reporting of financial performance of the newly launched speed programs - Quick Commerce, Rush and Prime Air Drone.

Responsibilities

  • Financial reporting and consolidation for SSD financial and operational performance
  • Manage database tools, reporting mechanisms, financial systems and create insightful analysis to drive business improvement
  • Coordinate the overall close process partnering with various stakeholders across Finance, Accounting and Business Intelligence Engineering
  • Facilitate effective leadership reviews, manage communication with stakeholders and monitor closure of follow-up items
  • Creating financial models and plans, interpreting large data sets, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout the company
  • Building effective business partnerships and using active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce operational costs through data and financial analysis inclusive of proactively resolving defects, benchmarking key performance indicators, and developing new metrics
  • Implementing solutions to simplify, improve, automate, standardize and scale processes

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
  • 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

Pay

USA, WA, Bellevue - 82,700.00 - 117,100.00 USD annually
