Senior Financial Analyst Project Valuation
About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst Project Valuation performs financial due diligence and prepares investment valuations of acquisitions and greenfield projects in the energy industry. They coordinate engagements with Development leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SME), gather and review SME assumptions, prepare management presentations, and present to Risk Committee/CFO reviews and senior management vetting meetings.
Responsibilities
- Performs financial pro forma modeling and analysis work products
- Captures engagement with Development leaders and SMEs
- Gathers and reviews SME assumptions
- Resolves open issues with SME assumptions
- Prepares management presentations
- Presents to Risk Committee/CFO reviews and senior management vetting meetings
- Affords assistance in developing valuation standards and policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience
- Preferred: CPA, CFA, Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Qualifications
- Advanced abilities to comprehend, analyze, frame and resolve complex analytical issues
- Communicate key investment benefits and risks to senior management
- Provide expertise and support to other NextEra departments requiring financial consulting services or financial training
