About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting enterprise financial performance through advanced financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting. This role may be responsible for strategic pricing and monetization analysis. This role partners closely with business leaders to inform data-driven decisions related to revenue optimization, headcount and cost management, and long-range financial planning in a publicly traded, SaaS-based environment. The position provides regular exposure to senior leadership, including executive-level presentations and recommendations.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain complex financial models, including forecasts for income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans for assigned P&L categories.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close by preparing advanced analyses and reviewing work performed by junior analysts.
  • Maintain and analyze key financial metrics, KPIs, and ratios to assess business performance, labor efficiency, capital investments, and profitability.
  • Perform ad hoc financial modeling and analysis to support strategic initiatives and leadership decision-making.
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to leaders across Finance, Product, Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, and/or Operations.
  • Support earnings guidance and external reporting processes through forecast preparation and analytical support.
  • Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet & Statement of Cash Flows budget and forecasts.
  • Present financial insights, pricing recommendations, and strategic analyses to senior leadership and executives.
  • Act as a point of coordination for designated financial approval or governance processes as assigned.
  • Maintain and update various financial metrics and ratios to assist management in the evaluation of business performance, including labor and capital expenditures.
  • Partner with the business to prepare budgets and forecasts for assigned P&L categories.
  • Support the earnings release process, including the preparation of financial statement forecasts.
  • Prepare the most complex areas of financial analysis for monthly and quarterly close; may require reviewing work completed by Financial Analyst I and Financial Analyst II.
  • Other ad hoc analyses and financial modeling upon manager request.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate finance experience, exposure to a public company environment a plus.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to synthesize complex analyses into executive-ready insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with focus in Accounting or Finance preferred; other quantitative-focused majors may be considered.
  • CPA or other professional designation strongly preferred.
  • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.

Physical & Technical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods (typically 7–8 hours per day).
  • Ability to use a computer, phone systems, and multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Ability to create, edit, and present digital materials and documentation.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $66,600 - $105,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits.
