About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst - NASC Finance plays a crucial role in supporting Amazon's logistics infrastructure through financial analysis and decision-making. This position focuses on creating effective business partnerships, managing competing priorities, and providing data-driven insights to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysis.
• Present financial summaries and business insights to Senior Management (Business and Finance).
• Develop financial models for new business concepts and resulting financial impact to drive data-driven decision making.
• Build out and enhance models for new and existing businesses, develop business insights and KPI dashboards, and lead ad hoc analyses.
• Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience.
• Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience (preferred).
• MBA, or CPA (preferred).
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Pay

Base salary ranges from $73,600.00 to $128,800.00 annually, depending on location.

Schedule

The position is located in various locations across the United States, including New York, Nashville, Irving, and Bellevue.
