About the role
Environmental Solutions Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Fort Payne, Alabama. This role serves as a key member of the Equipment Finance team and is responsible for several key processes within the financial planning and analysis function.
Responsibilities
- Support and drive analysis for monthly and quarterly rolling financial forecasting and the annual operating plan for all business units and consolidated.
- Enhance the processes and tools used to deliver management reporting to provide relevant, timely financial information to support decision-making, aligned with organizational objectives.
- Continually enhance the use of business intelligence, budgeting, and reporting tools so that relevant financial information is delivered efficiently throughout the organization.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures, and other relevant areas.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities for improved operations of the Finance Team.
- Provide financial support and training for business partners such as Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
- Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, special projects and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance required or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
- Relevant experience in a professional finance/business environment (0 to 4 years; strong internship experience will be considered).
